Are y'all ready for a little we-survived-Irma-humor?

But what really set social media aflame was when the Gainesville PD started posting candid selfies of some of its more — ahem — physically fit officers.

Gainesville PD responded on Facebook:
Closer to home, Sarasota PD was not to be left out of the fun:
We went to help @NorthPortPolice & @CityofNorthPort w/ rescues due to rising floodwaters from #Irma. @GainesvillePD has nothing on us😉🚔 pic.twitter.com/BtfeTFQWsr
