A couple weeks back, Instacart announced its expansion into the Tampa Bay area, offering on-demand delivery from national chains like Whole Foods Market and Total Wine & More. And as of Thursday, Orlando-based ABC Fine Wine & Spirits has also hopped on.
Instacart, which specializes in grocery delivery but also transports booze in under an hour through its website and mobile app, marks the third alcohol delivery partnership for ABC. In the past year, the wine and liquor giant has also joined forces with Shipt and Drizly to deliver its beer, wine and spirits selection locally.
As ABC Fine Wine & Spirits CEO Charles Bailes III puts it: convenience is everything.
A membership with Instacart isn't needed to place an order, but members get unlimited free delivery for $149 a year. First-time shoppers can use the code ABCDELIVERS to receive one month of free delivery through Dec. 31 (the holidays are coming up, people). Normally, the delivery fee is $5.99 for orders over $35.
The service is now available from ABC stores in Hillsborough and Pinellas counties, including Tampa, St. Petersburg, Largo and Brandon.
