It's getting *kind of* ridiculous how many food delivery services are making their way to Tampa Bay. But lucky for Tampa residents (and our CL offices), Postmates is the latest one.
Based in San Fran, the on-demand service soft launched in Cigar City Wednesday and will officially go live starting Thursday.
The delivery fee is normally $3.99, but Postmates is waiving the fee through Oct. 31 as well as offering new customers a $50 delivery credit upon checkout (just enter promo code TPAVIP).
Food and other wares from more than 70 Tampa-area establishments are offered through Postmates, which transports everything from Whole Foods Market and Cafe Hey to the Apple Store and Burger King via its website and mobile app.
The 5-year-old company's fleet of 30,000-plus couriers serves 44 U.S. metropolitan markets.
