International Plaza restaurant gets its own rooftop patio

Burrata and prosciutto toast, carpaccio, and meatballs and polenta line the menu of Brio Tuscan Grille's new addition: a rooftop patio.

The International Plaza chain restaurant's rooftop feature — which overlooks Bay Street and offers comfy lounge-style seating — serves these chef-inspired small plates, among others, once a week, as it operates during happy hour from 6:30 to 10 p.m. on Wednesdays.

Despite the limited hours, Tampa guests can also down specialty cocktails like St-Germain gimlets and a Manhattan made with infused honey bourbon, local craft beer, and wines by the glass. Drinks range in price from $5 to $8.

A grand opening for the rooftop patio is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. Sept. 27.
