In Brandon, The Rack has been temporarily closed for renovations since about this time last year. But a recent post to the sushi bar and billiards lounge's Facebook page announced some news that curious customers have been waiting for.

Those who've been following The Rack's Facebook updates to stay in the loop throughout its remodeling process at 1025 W. Brandon Blvd. knew a name change was coming. And S Bar according to a Jan. 21 post from the nightlife spot, which also features a "grand opening spring 2017" flier for the new concept  is that name.

"We have lots of surprises and a brand new look that we can't wait to unveil to you," the update reads. "However for right now we are keeping the details under wraps till the big reveal. We think it'll be worth the wait... We hope everyone enjoys S Bar as much as you enjoyed The Rack!"

The indoor-outdoor Rack, whose popular SoHo counterpart closed in 2013, was originally scheduled to reopen back in April.
