Akiva kicks off the resurgence of live music at Hooch and Hive. In addition to streaming regularly, the Tampa trio released a video for its single “Say Shit” in June (in the clip, Akiva’s influences of Rage Against the Machine and Red Hot Chili Peppers are undeniable). Former New World Brewery general manager Dean Rosenberger is now Spiritual Janitor (or M.O.D.) at this University of Tampa adjacent venue, so expect the same level of show goodness to come to the Hooch calendar soon (hopefully another epic night of amateur pencil fighting, too).
