The Dallas Bull’s last big concert (Tyler Farr, Nov. 6) drew a packed, almost exclusively maskless crowd to a 31,000 square-foot club that can pack in more than 2,100 on a busy night. In the wake of the concert, a rep for Hillsborough County told Creative Loafing Tampa Bay that “A Regulatory Compliance officer has gone to the business and talked to management to educate them about the business’s responsibilities governing social distancing and face coverings,” but added that no citation (violations carry a $165 fine) had been issued at the time.
This week, Mitchell Tenpenny (“Drunk Me,” “Alcohol You Later”) is headed to the room, and CL reached out to reps for the Nashville songwriter and local venue to see what would be different about crowds this time around. We’ve yet to receive a reply, but will update this post if we do.
Mitchell Tenpenny, Friday, Dec. 11, 7 p.m. (show at 10 p.m.) $20-$30. Dallas Bull, Tampa dallasbull.com
