Hot dog tycoon Dick Portillo puts his beachfront Florida penthouse on the market

Let’s be frank, the founder of Portillo’s Hot Dogs is selling his his massive Florida beach condo, and it’s certainly not the wurst.

Located at 81 Seagate Dr. in Naples, the 11,960-square-foot  penthouse was purchased by encased-meats tycoon Dick Portillo in 2022 for $11 million, according to property records.

The space, which sits on the 20th floor, has since received a massive makeover through C&E Builders and Theory Design’s Ruta Menaghlazi, says the listing. The pad now comes with five bedrooms and seven bathrooms, as well as a champagne eucalyptus cabinetry, white Macaubas quartzite countertops, a water vapor fireplace, herringbone oak floors, a wine bar, and a wraparound balcony with a spa and over 4,800-square-feet of outdoor living space.

The hot dog haus also sports a whopping $11,563 monthly HOA charge.

Besides slanging dogs and hot beef sandwiches, Portillo is also a shrewd real estate investor, who currently owns other properties in Naples as well as the Chicago area.
