Space shuttle Atlantis sits on the launch pad as it is prepped to fly the last shuttle mission. Atlantis STS-135 will end the shuttle program when it lands in July 2011. Early in the morning of June 1, less than two miles apart, shuttle Endeavour was landing at the same time shuttle Atlantis was making the 1 mph trip aboard the huge crawler to the launch pad — the modern version of two ships passing in the night. Shuttle Atlantis is scheduled to launch on July 8, 2011. We will be there for the launch and post the photographs here, as well as extended coverage on our website – www.starznbarz.com
