So you're out there at 2 a.m., dripping with sweat from the dance floor, draped around somebody whose stomach is growling. You could stoop to fast food, but why not just go home if you're going to surrender to total hopeless conventionality? Better choice: Drop by Ceviche and order a terrific appetizer, like cold scallops and shrimp or hot eggplant baked with cheese. Wash the food down with sangria, balancing your glasses on the teensy bar. As the night wears on, the crowd heats up like the inside of a spandex tube top.
Ceviche Tapas Bar & Restaurant, 2109 Bayshore Blvd., Tampa, 813-250-0203.
