Hampton Arts Management's new Philanthropic Young Tampa Bay (PYT) is way cool, not just because it has the same acronym as a great Michael Jackson tune, which gets stuck in my head every time I think of it … na na na na na … but because — by using a crowd-financing approach — the group enables Tampa Bay's young professionals to be meaningful cultural philanthropists at a lower dollar amount.
The first project of Philanthropic Young Tampa Bay, tonight's PYT Launch Party, benefits the Tampa Museum of Art.
