Credit the Improv with bringing to town the best touring stand-up comics, from newcomers to household names. Recent headliners include Dave Attell, Mitch Hedberg, Bruce Bruce, Jay Mohr, David Allen Grier and Jim Breuer. The club also promotes local comics through a monthly open mic night. This forum allows amateurs to test their talents and has cultivated the Improv's current house emcees, Tony Gaud and Roy Johnson. Plus the food's not bad, the wait staff is prompt and the drinks aren't weak.
