Last October award-winning Cuban sandwich restaurant Michelle Faedo's Tampeño Cuisine announced a forthcoming second location stationed within the county building, at 601 E. Kennedy Blvd. in downtown Tampa.

Well, today is the second location's grand opening, and the sign the restaurant posted on the door reads new offerings for the concept, including 10% discount for county employees on Monday and Friday, and a $0.75 discount on drinks and coffee if you bring your own cup.

Michelle Faedo's Tampeño Cuisine is known for a menu of made-to-order bites like tostones, plantains, deviled crab, crab cakes, and of course, Cuban sandwiches.

The county building location is open on weekdays from 7 a.m.-4 p.m., closed on weekends.

The OG joint at 1218 Ray Charles Blvd. in downtown Tampa's Tempo district is still slinging the good stuff from 10 a.m.-6 p.m. Monday – Friday, 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Saturday, and closed on Sunday.
