According to The Daily Meal, restaurants across the world are reinventing the idea of farm-to-table in providing fresh produce. Because many big cities — like New York and Los Angeles — lack room for restaurants to have neighboring acres of farm land to provide fresh produce for their customers, the new "roof-to-table" concept allows for notable eateries, "to grow their own ingredients way up high."
