We're weighing in today on one of the biggest stories of the year in Tampa Bay politics – Norm Roche being exposed for his anonymous rants at his fellow commissioners and others in St. Peterburg. But as we conclude, his exposure may actually turn out to be a good thing. Really.
Herman Cain is stayin' alive – so far – though seemingly only the true believers think he can survive the cascade of policy misstatements he's been piling up. The true believers will no doubt be in the house this coming Sunday night when he appears at a fund-raiser in Sarasota.
And speaking of appearances, the legendary George McGovern will be coming to Tampa in 13 days to tout his new book.
