Last week's revelation by Citizens property insurance that they are proposing rate hikes for those in the Tampa Bay area who have sinkhole insurance with the company of (in some cases) 2,000 percent have outraged nearly everyone in the state who doesn't have some link with insurance companies.
Even Governor Rick Scott, who supports the radical rate increases, admits that they're staggering.
Nobody in the state legislature has been more outspoken about the rate hikes and the legislation that has enabled it – known as SB 408 – than New Port Richey Republican Senator Mike Fasano.
Fasano and those angry about it announced on Tuesday that they will protest the increases by……waving some signs?
