Former Crystal River GOP state Senator Nancy Argenziano has never been shy about criticizing members of her own party, and with more ammo in her quiver, why stop now?
Disaffected by a lot of things inside the Florida Republican party, Argenziano did not go silently last year last year after the legislatively controlled Public Service Commission nominating council refused to consider her for another term, after she voted against the two largest utility rate increases in state history earlier in 2010. She then saw the light when it came to the potential dangers of Rick Scott, and endorsed Democrat Alex Sink last fall in the governor's race.
But now she has completely let loose, penning a blistering op-ed in the Citrus County Chronicle, entitled "Things are worse than you think." And she comes right out in in the first paragraph and says flatly: The legislation and policies of the governor and legislative leadership are wrong.
