A crowd of approximately 120 liberal activists descended upon the local district office of St. Petersburg House Republican Jeff Brandes Tuesday afternoon, one of over two dozen rallies held in cities across Florida by the activist group Awake The State, who are deriding the just-concluded Florida Legislative session as the the “most anti-middle class in state history."
