Come ring in the year's most oppressive months, and hear more worthy local talent than you probably knew existed – just make sure you wear something that breathes. The fine folks of Tastemakers have been building their eclectic twice-monthly Wednesday-night shindigs for several months. Now they're bringing you their most ambitious undertaking to date: Summer Jam, a 12-hour, 19-performer celebration of sweat and musical diversity. The incredibly disparate lineup includes live performers Isobella, Tribal Style, Jeremy Gloff, Bling Bling, Surreal (formerly of Double Helix), Dukes of Hillsborough, Breakdown, Science-Non-Fiction, and Incredible Crisis, in addition to Tastemakers' resident DJs Deacon and Colonic. You also get spinnage from T The Beat Specialist; Balance; Blenda; Purifya; WMNF's Scott Imrich; Eric the Red; and Del Ruby. Plus, there's more killer free New World barbecue, and live painting by Blank Cartel.

Summer Jam, Saturday, June 25 @ New World Brewery, 1515 E. Eighth Ave., Ybor City. 3 p.m., $10.
