Composting: It's not just about throwing your kitchen scraps into a pile of dirt. Join Sweetwater Organic Farm's Rick Martinez and Nathan Wax from Mother’s Organics Humus Farm, this Sunday to learn the about the ins and outs of composting.
Rick and Nathan will share their combined knowledge and teach you all you’ve ever wanted to know about composting in this two-hour workshop. They’ll teach you what exactly compost does, different composting methods and systems you can use as well as important techniques that will allow you to get started composting or improve on your current methods.

Mother’s Organics Humus Farm, receives yard waste from all around the Bay Area and turns it into humus, mulches and other soil amendment products through controlled composting processes.
