Mark Sharpe's entry into the GOP race for Congress next year had media representatives from TV, radio, newspapers and the Internet reporting on a potential Sharpe-Kathy Castor throwdown next year that, depending on how the district is redrawn, could be something rarely observed in Tampa Bay politics – a competitive Congressional race.
But Eddie Adams isn't conceding anything yet. Adams has ran all three times for the seat since Jim Davis vacated it in 2006, being the GOP nominee that year and in 2008 (he lost in the contested primary last year to Mike Prendergast). And he tells CL he'll run again for the nomination in 2012.
