It's true. Fleming's Prime Steakhouse & Wine Bar has a $100 margarita. But only for a limited time.

To celebrate Cinco de Mayo, the national steakhouse chain, known for its chops and 100 wines by the glass, has joined forces with Tequila Herradura and Baccarat to pull off the luxuriously priced, top-shelf cocktail, whose cost is essentially justified by Baccarat and Herradura's involvement.

You see — alongside lime juice, simple syrup and a gold sugar-kosher salt rim — the $100 rita features Tequila Herradura Seleccion Suprema, the world's first extra-añejo tequila expression that's aged for 49 months (1,491 days!) (this stuff is something like $300 per bottle), and another premium liquor: Grand Marnier Centenaire. Oh, and, you know, there's that thing the drink is served in — the Diamant Highball, a tall glass with pointed diamond cuts from crystal producer Baccarat, a.k.a. the "Crystal of the Kings."

Thankfully, guests who order the $100 margarita — available at all Fleming's locations, including Tampa, from Thursday to Saturday — get to take their Diamant Highball home. Think of the offer as a more extravagant Keep the Pint Night.

In case you're wondering how the damn thing tastes, Fleming's invited CL to preview the cocktail Tuesday night, and I've put together a few GIFs to help explain the experience that is a $100 margarita step-by-step.

When your $100 margarita arrives.

What that first sip tastes. Fleming's doesn't skimp on the tequila.

And the next.

Who's sitting/standing next to you? You're gonna want a glass clink.
