Good morning everyone, happy Friday to each and every one of you (and Saturday or Sunday, if you're reading this over the weekend).

You might recall that controversy a few years ago – a mini-controversy about that huge Confederate flag hanging up in the air in Tampa? Well, the flag has reduced in size, but the hurt it causes to those in the black community remains.

A little late, but we've got that report for you on that big job fair that Tampa House Democrat Janet Cruz sponsored on Wednesday.

And as we leafed through out new copy of Newsweek last night with a photo of the 8 candidates who were present at last week's GOP presidential debate, something hit us – namely, that one of those candidates isn't really trying, and thus shouldn't be allowed to participate in next month's campaign forums.
