For weeks, rumors swirled that the Best of the Bay winning Emerald bar was changing or closing. No one knew exactly what was happening, but suddenly you didn’t need to hit the ATM before going inside, because you could use your credit card.

We’ve just learned that the Emerald isn’t closing, but losing its now-iconic bartenders — Judah and Levi Love.
