Tampa Jewish Community Center’s Cohn Campus—at 13009 Community Campus Dr. in Citrus Park—is taking on Neil Simon’s “Biloxi Blues” for its latest production, which runs through Wednesday, Nov. 10.
The JCC’s J Stage professionally produces “live theater with a Jewish lens,” this time focusing on Simon’s Tony award-winning comedy about a Brooklyn 18-year-old’s basic training in the Army during World War II. Anyone remember the movie adaptation with Matthew Broderick?
Tickets are $20. Veterans pay half price and receive a gift during a Wednesday, Nov. 10 performance at 7 p.m.
Here are the remaining showtimes:
- Saturday, Nov. 6 (8 p.m.)
- Sunday, Nov. 7 (2 p.m. & 8 p.m.)
- Tuesday, Nov. 9 (7 p.m.)
- Wednesday, Nov. 10 (7 p.m.)

Theater is expensive, and Creative Loafing Tampa Bay devotes editorial budget to writing about it because it’s essential to cover local playwrights, actors and the venues that support them. Support arts journalism in these crazy days and consider making a one time or monthly donation to help support our staff. Every little bit helps.
