✔️Hiphopalooza 6: The Bay Is Here Prince Golden's annual showcase of Tampa Bay's best new hip-hop acts returns to Ybor City with a bill of about a dozen acts. Our new interview with Golden also features a mixtape that includes nearly every Hiphopalooza 6 performer. (Crowbar, Ybor City) INFO

Michale Graves w/Argyle Goolsby/Nim Vind Is there life after The Misfits’ attempt to find new life by hiring a lead singer not named Danzig? Apparently so. Just look at this show headlined by 43-year-old songwriter Michale Graves who fronted a version of the Misfits from ‘95-2000. Many fans didn’t seem to mind seeing Graves at the helm, so expect plenty of them to show at the Brass Mug for this one where Blitzkid frontman Argyle Goolsby and fellow horror-punk songwriter Nim Vind open the show. ✔️ The F.A. w/Old Vices/Everything Issues Old-school punk and hardcore takes to the dimly lit floor at The Hub when The F.A (all the way from Vero Beach) headlines a show in support of its breakneck August release, How Riots Start. Old Vices holds it down for the Tampa punk-rock lifers, and Moose Masseuse retires its old moniker at this show where it’ll play under the Everything Issues banner. This one is free, not all-ages and definitely not smoke-free, either. (The Hub Bar, Tampa) INFO

✔️ Big Gigantic w/Flamingosis Big Gigantic is a huge hit in its hometown of Boulder, Colorado, but the EDM duo (which just donated more than $70,000 to Centennial State hunger relief and youth empowerment nonprofit Conscious Alliance) is wildly popular in Florida, too. We’re pretty sure that this St. Pete gig alongside Jersey producer Flamingosis will sell out, which makes sense since this one-two punch of wubby jazztronica is actually one of the best shows happening on Saturday night. Brother Cephus w/Revel In The View/Spork Lakeland calls us away from home once again when Revel in the View invites a pair of the Bay area’s best bands — indie-rock quartet Brother Cephus and emo trio Spork — to The Poor Porker, which has hosted some other Bay area favorites (Kristopher James, Kaleigh Baker) of late. ✔️ Magic City Hippies w/Bay Ledges/The Hails Yacht rock is already fun on its own, but Magic City Hippies has re-invented it in a way on “Body Like A Weapon,” “Franny” and “Gunslingers,” a trio of genre-bending summertime singles where frontman Robby Hunter and his bandmates — guitarist John Coughlin and producer-drummer Pat Howard — deploy Howard’s Prophet 12 synthesizer, Coughlin’s lyrics and Hunter’s croon to create vibes that feel like what happens when Kendrick Lamar comes on the stereo during a Lambda Lambda Lambda bus ride to Bonnaroo. Los Angeles duo Bay Ledges and a rising Tampa band, The Hails, open this show, which is sure to be one hell of a party. (Orpheum, Ybor City) INFO
