It’s time to get off Twitch and go see Matt Heafy in real life.

The 36-year-old hard-rocker was able to turn his everyday life (think: getting the kids out of bed, fucking around with gear and playing first-person shooter games) into revenue during the pandemic (Loudwire put Heafy’s haul at $10,000 a month, just $1,000 less than his band brings in on streaming services).

This weekend, the Orlando band plays one hell of a non-traditional venue when it lands at Coppertail Brewing Co. in Ybor City on Friday, March 11 as part of Tampa Bay Beer Week.

Opening is an outfit with Deviant Libation Brewer Tim Ogden in the lineup (The Path of Increased Indifference), plus Mutilated Grist, a heavy metal cover band featuring Coppertail founder Kent Bailey on drums.
