Fat Dog Spirits rolled out its newest vodka and gin brand, Nirvana, in Tampa earlier this year. However, the Ybor City craft distillery and parent company of Touch Vodka is close to achieving another milestone with the pair of hemp-infused spirits: distribution across the state.
On Aug. 27, Miami-based distributor Southern Glazer's Wine & Spirits will begin delivering Nirvana — cases of which have already been preordered — to various Florida retail/wholesale and liquor stores. The 80-proof gin and vodka typically come in 750-milliliter bottles, priced at $24.99 each, but 50- and 375-milliliter bottles are also available.
"We are excited to partner with Southern to bring our fine and unique product to the Florida market," according to a statement from Fat Dog Spirits President Ron Bartholomew. "It is a phenomenal opportunity to partner with the No.1 distributor in the world. Besides, we had a tremendous Nirvana (soft) launch on 4/20 for our team and investors and we'd like to keep the momentum going."
Nirvana joins Fat Dog's existing portfolio of gin, moonshine and Touch Vodka, which includes orange, key lime and grapefruit flavors.
