No word on whether or not the Metro Wellness LGBTQ benefit in Gulfport will have real peacocks, but we can dream, can’t we? Credit: Cathy Salustri
Ain’t no party like a PeaCocktail Party because a peacocktail party is ostentatious. Yeah, that’s not where we thought that sentence would go, either, but “ostentation” is the collective noun for peacocks, and this party at Stetson is going to be a way for Metro Wellness to collect money for their LGBTQ programs, so… yeah, OK, it’s a stretch, but while we have you here, let us tell ya about the party. They’ll have heavy hors d’oeuvres, desserts, and dancing. Oh, and an open bar. No word on whether or not they’ll have actual peacocks, but we have our fingers crossed.
