Fridays are especially wonderous in the music community thanks to new music release day, and the Tampa Bay area is not without its own batch of new music each week.

CL has been vibing out with the soundscapes on a new instrumental release from Tampa producer Wally Clark, and we’ve also been loving the direction Bay area songwriter Ari Chi took on her tropical new release Lost In the Hues.

Lakeland songwriter Michael McArthur has also released a new video for "Elaine." Speaking of Lakeland, Copeland principal Aaron Marsh has been teasing fans with material from a forthcoming release, while this Friday also sees Bay area noise punk outfit Vacancy teasing songs from the forthcoming LP it recorded in 2018 with Dan Byers at Rock Garden Studios (listen below).

And while the band is technically from Texas, Tampa Bay loves itself some Bright Light Social Hour. The psych-rock band has released a new album (Jude Vol. I) and booked an April 18 show at Crowbar where FayRoy will play support.

Listen to CL’s playlist of new Florida music on Spotify, and please let us know if you’ve dropped new music in 2019.
