He was the first classical musician to perform at NPR’s Tiny Desk, and on Sunday Jason Vieaux takes to the halls of St. Petersburg’s fine art museum to play music that’s been described as a reinvention of the classical guitar. Domenico Scarlatti, Johann Sebastian Bach and Frank Martin will all get played by the 45-year-old, Grammy-winning virtuoso when he works through an afternoon set that kicks off at 2 p.m.
