After serving in the U.S. Air Force, Georgia-reared comic JJ Curry is climbing the ranks in the comedy scene in his new hometown of Tampa Bay. He’s a highlight on the bill for the July installment of Ybor City’s Cabaret Comedy Night, where Iranian-American comic Farzin Moradi will deflect all the things bothering him by telling jokes while Sofia Sanchez uses her English degree for nothing.

Amanda Wilson’s working-mom comedy rounds things out alongside a set from new father Ricky Hicken, who’s bringing new meaning to cringeworthy dad jokes. Donations will be collected on behalf of the comedians.
