Fans of heady rock and jam band tunes kicked off the week with some great shows (Umphrey’s McGee, Nth Power, Perpetual Groove), and they get to head into next weekend with one hell of a jamtronica show. Lettuce drummer Adam Deitch and keyboardist Borahm Lee — aka Break Science, which is touring behind a hip-pop-flavored new single, “Coded Theory” — headline this one at Orpheum where electro-funk producer Cory Wythe (aka Marvel Years) opens the show.
Break Science w/Marvel Years. Wed. Aug. 21, 7 p.m. $15-$18. Orpheum, Ybor City. brokenmoldentertainment.com.
