How do you say “Let’s party” in Arabic? Lovers of khubz, kefta, tahini, labneh, mansaf, tagine and other Arabic foods will rejoice this Saturday when the Arab-American Community Center of Florida stages an all-day festival at Water Works Park celebrating the culture of the nearly two dozen countries that make up the modern Arab world (Morocco, Egypt, Iraq and Kuwait are a few you may have heard of).

Choreographer Amirah Sackett is set to perform, but you can find us looking for the manakeesh (pizza) and fattoush (salad) until the damn thing closes at 7 p.m..
