Tampa Bay was apparently very ready for Taylor Swift to bring a tour back to this neck of the woods.

This morning, the 32-year-old songwriter—who already had plans to play two nights in Tampa—added yet another show to her run at RayJay next year.

Swift, touring behind a new album, Midnights will now play Tampa’s Raymond James Stadium for three nights, Thursday-Saturday, April 13-15.  Beabadoobee and Gracie Abrams will open all three shows, which are still the only Florida shows from Swift.
As previously reported, tickets to see Taylor Swift in Tampa start at $45 and require ticket buyers to register with a fan verification tool and be selected for a chance to buy tickets. Fans who held onto tickets for Swift’s canceled Lover Fest shows get highest priority.

Three straight shows at Tampa Bay’s biggest venue seems unprecedented, and Creative Loafing Tampa Bay has reached out to Raymond James Stadium’s Vice President of Marketing & Communications to see if he remembers the last time an artist pulled off a similar run.

What also remains to be seen is whether or not Swift will now take the opportunity to present different setlists each night since “The Eras Tour” is being dubbed as a deep look back at the record-breaking artist’s entire catalog. With more than 200 songs in her cache, there’d be plenty of material to pick from.
