Busch Gardens Tampa Bay is slashing ticket prices this weekend in honor of Memorial Day.

On Friday, the local theme park announced a limited run of discounted $49 tickets, down from the regular $84.99, available from now until June 2. The deeply discounted tickets can only be used through June 23.

Guests can also add an Adventure Island ticket for $10 more.

The park’s Fun Card, which is basically like a season pass but with more blackout dates, will also be available for just $65, a 30% value, and the park is also slashing prices on their Bronze, Silver and Gold annual passes.

Today's announcement comes just a few day after the park announced a new offer for free admission for veterans and their families. Between now and June 9, U.S. military veterans and retirees can redeem free single-day tickets for themselves and up to three dependents by reserving them at WavesofHonor.com.

If you still need an excuse to go, Busch Gardens did recently unveil their latest attraction, Tigris, Florida’s tallest launch coaster. Plus, there's always free beer.
