When Sir Rod Stewart wrapped his long-awaited tour with Cheap Trick at Tampa’s Amalie Arena last year, some fans were under the impression that it was the last time he’d put on an elaborate production linked to his rock material, having recently shown interest in taking his Great American Songbook side on the road.

Photos of him with Faces—with whom he supposedly is working on new music—scrolled by during “Ooh La La,” and on “Do Ya Think I’m Sexy,” graphics of dildos and water droplet emojis flashed in front of cheetah print.
Roddy must have had a change of heart, because he’s gonna do it all over again for a far smaller crowd.

A few tickets to see Rod Stewart play the Hard Rock Event Center at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Tampa are still available.
