Clearwater-born Tilian Pearson is doing a hometown show, but that should come as no surprise to local fans.
The 31-year-old’s band, Dance Gavin Dance, just played The Ritz in April and opened for Underoath at Yuengling Center last winter. Pearson (who performs under the Tilian moniker) even played a solo set in Ybor City last September, but he’s set to do it again during at a show at Orpheum on August 14.
He’ll support a 2018 solo album, The Skeptic, which hit no. 1 on Billboard’s Alternative New Artist chart and racked up 1.5 million streams when it was released.
Other Florida dates include Orlando (August 10 at The Abbey), Jacksonville (August 11 at 1904 Music Hall) and Lake Park (August 13 at Kelsey Theatre).
Landon Tewers (The Plot in You), Brent Walsh (I the Mighty), and RIVALS are confirmed to open the shows. Tickets go on sale Friday, May 24 at 11 a.m..
