Itโ€™s been a pretty solid six months for Chas Binns and his friends in Liquid Pennies. The St. Pete psych-rock outfit dropped the A-Wake Ending EP in Januaryโ€”described by Binns as โ€œthe most accurate representation of our live sound with far fewer embellishments than any of our other releases, but staying true to our love of being unpredictable sonicallyโ€โ€”and a mini East coast tour promoting it went down earlier this year.

The guys also performed some source material of a surprise remix EP at Daddy Kool Records on Record Store Day, and rocked Lost in St. Pete last month.

The band is joined by a whoโ€™s who of the 727 rock sceneโ€”The Venus, Chaunces and Nic Hamersly’s latest project Skinner Follieโ€”open the show.

Tickets to see Liquid Pennies play Floridian Social in St. Petersburg on Thursday, June 15 are still available for $10.
