Hooters will soon reward locals who donate blood on-site with a free order of 10 boneless wings. Eight of the popular chicken chain's restaurants plan to host a community blood drive, in collaboration with longtime partner OneBlood, from noon to 6 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 13.

The participating Hooters locations are in Clearwater (2800 Gulf to Bay Blvd.), Port Richey (5336 Treadway Drive), St. Petersburg (4125 Fourth St. N., 2901 Tyrone Blvd.) and Tampa (10023 E. Adamo Drive, 4420 Gandy Blvd., 13606 Bruce B Downs Blvd., 4215 W. Hillsborough Ave.).

Donors will also score a long-sleeve OneBlood T-shirt and a wellness checkup that includes cholesterol screening.

"We look forward to teaming up with OneBlood to offer a convenient opportunity and location for our community to donate blood to help save lives," said Denise Williams, chief marketing officer for Hooters Management Corporation, in a statement.
