Anise's website describes the new concept as "our own private oasis in the middle of the bustling city."
There will be a designated area within the restaurant for Hidden Star, and will serve up craft tiki cocktails and select bites on Friday and Saturday nights from 7 p.m.-2 a.m. Beware, seating is extremely limited.
If you're itching to check it out, arrive early, check in at the host stand and if you're lucky enough to snag a spot, you'll be taken to Hidden Star's entrance.
You may have already experienced the tropical vibes during Anise's Tiki Pop-Up Tuesday, where local tiki enthusiast Sean O’Connor mixes up exotic cocktails like Painkillers and the Lo-Fi Sour, which is made up of gin, pimento dram, lime, hibiscus, and pineapple, every second Tuesday of the month. There are also tiki treats on the menu like coconut shrimp, salmon tartare and coconut shrimp buns served with pineapple rum chutney.
As of right now, Anise is holding a contest to get a seat at the soft opening. Details can be found on Anise's event page.
