If you get squeamish when it comes to all things creepy and crawly, move on to the next article. If you get a real hard-on for adventurous eats, then know that the MFA ST. Pete — inspired by its current exhibition, "The Grasshopper and The Ant’ and Other Stories” — is pushing the envelope on what’s for dinner.

A tasting menu from Chef Joseph Yoon of Brooklyn Bugs — an organization dedicated to raising awareness and appreciation for edible insects, and promoting ento-cuisine as a sustainable and delicious source of protein — incorporates insects into 10 dishes, and DJ HPrizm spins interesting tunes mixed with the sounds of a variety of bugs.

Just a heads up, it’s a cash bar after the first cocktail (and you might want a few to wash down your mouthful of ants).

Fri., Nov. 15. $50 & up. 6 p.m.-9 p.m. Museum of Fine Arts, 255 Beach Dr. NE, St. Petersburg. Mfastpete.org
