Tampa-based promoter Locust Parade is best known for its hardcore gigs, but this one is a mix of genres, thanks in big part to Orbiter.

The Gainesville band marries the worlds of sludge, post-rock and shoegaze together in grand fashion on a late-2024 release, Distorted Folklore, which was recorded by Torche and Shitstorm engineer/member Jonathan Nunez who’s also worked with Jacuzzi Boys.

Sandcrawler, No Plea and Pipe Dreamer open.

Tickets to see Orbiter play Deviant Libation in Tampa on Sunday, April 6 are $15 at the door.
