According to a recent article by Tampa Bay Times, BB is planning on opening up a craft beer microbrewery, beer garden, and restaurant in a 34,000-square-foot former athletic club on State Road 56. There is even enough room to squeeze in an event space.
According to property records, it cost owner Joe Redner $3.9 million dollars.
TBT also reported that Redner is going to pour $8.7 million more into the venture prior to next year’s project opening.
This operation will create over 40 jobs for locals.
It seems like even the higher-ups in Pasco County are ready for Brew Bus to pour in. In a recent statement, Pasco Economic Development Council president and chief executive officer Bill Cronin regarding the job opportunities called the project “a win for the whole community.” Although the brewing company hasn't announced anything about guided tours, we can be sure to expect their signature brews like Juicy Sloot, Rollin Dirty and Florida Avenue Brewing drafts.
Looks like some Tampa Bay locals will be needing to take some Lyfts out to Pasco County to check out the major development next year.
We can’t let Pasco have all the fun.
