Listen up, brother, the WWE announced it will be inducting the infamous wrestlers Dave Batista, aka "The Animal," as well as the New World Order (nWo) members “Hollywood” Hulk Hogan, Scott Hall, Kevin Nash and Sean Waltman into the WWE Hall of Fame on April 2 at Amalie Arena (stylized "AMALIE"), as a part of five-day-long Wrestlemania celebration.
At WrestleMania this past April, Batista competed for the final time against Triple H. The six-time World Champion is known for his rivalries against other WWE heavy-hitters like John Cena and The Undertaker, but might also be recognizable from his roles in Marvel’s blockbuster "Guardians of the Galaxy" and Avengers films. Oh, and a new pit bull owner, after rescuing two pups from a Tampa Bay shelter.
New World Order was lead by a villainous “Hollywood” Hulk Hogan who has had an insane rap sheet in and out of the rink. This wrestling stable containing other Hall of Fame inductees Scott Hall, Kevin Nash and Sean Waltman, helped rocket the WWE and World Champion Wrestling into fame in the mid-to-late 1990s.
According to the WWE’s website, for WrestleMania 36, this Hall of Fame ceremony will kick off the five-day wrestling celebration that also includes a Friday Night Smackdown and NXT TakeOver.
Haven’t gotten your WWE loving cousin a Christmas present yet? Tickets to WWE Hall of Fame might be your best bet.
Tickets for the 2020 WWE Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony are available this Friday, December 13 through all Ticketmaster outlets or at the ReliaQuest Ticket Office at Amalie Arena.
