Before spending bits and pieces of springtime performing on cruises, Glenn Hughes—the former lead singer of Deep Purple and Black Sabbath (who seemingly no longer performs with supergroup The Dead Daisies, made up primarily of pertinent classic rock backing band members)—celebrates 50 years of the Purp’s Burn, his first of three albums with the band.

The whole album isn’t being performed, but considering how Deep Purple itself doesn’t play a good chunk of these tracks anymore, we’ll take what we can get.

Tickets to see Glenn Hughes play Clearwater’s OCC Road House and Museum (10575 49th St. N) on Saturday, Feb. 24 are still available and start at $15.
