As a way to celebrate its fairly new Savage Apple rum and baseball spring training in Tampa, Sailor Jerry has partnered with the Bronx Pinstripes Yankees fan group to host an evening of smashing apples at Yard of Ale in South Tampa.
Following the New York Yankees vs. Philadelphia Phillies game, baseball fans and those looking to get out a little frustration can slide by the bar from 4 p.m.-7 p.m. on Saturday, March 14, pop on a helmet and tee off on some apples. This is by no means is an excuse to skip your anger management classes, but you can channel your inner Happy Gilmore to get the most out of the experience.
Attendees can sip on Sailor Jerry Savage Apple (the 70-proof apple-flavored spiced rum) and participate in the interactive batting experience for prime Instagram content before SoHo's weekend nightlife really pops off.
Yard of Ale is located at 406 S. Howard Ave. in Tampa.
