If you were filled with rage when you read about someone carving the name of a former president of the United States into a manatee, four local punk/indie outfits—locals Navin Avenue, GodDamnSonOfABitch, and Slap of Reality, plus D.C. expat Teen Cobra—are coming together at The Nest to fight back.

Every penny from the benefit gig will go directly towards both the Save The Manatees Club and The Florida Springs Institute, which devote themselves to protecting seagrass (which has been experiencing an alarming shortage lately) and the mammals that eat it.

Tickets to the Mission Manatee benefit concert on Wednesday, June 26 at The Nest at St. Petersburg Brewing are still available for $8.
