Sparkman Wharf is set to welcome a handful of concepts over the next few months, including Jeni’s Splendid Ice Creams, Mexican eatery JoToro and Italian concept Semolina—but this one’s for the dogs.
This spring dog lovers will be able to pick up new blinged-out collars and even a new Trump chew toy at the latest location of Modern Paws at the Wharf.
Just don’t expect to be able to pick up your pet’s bag of organic food or drop the pooch off for a good scrubbing because this Modern Paws boutique won’t be offering either of those things. According to an interview with Tampa Bay Business Journal, co-owner Lisa Prakobkit told the publication that the focus of this location is dedicated to gifts and accessories for dogs and humans.
The pet boutique’s second location will be in a quaint 650-square-foot space loaded with merch for Sparkman Wharf visitors. Thankfully, if you need to pick up chow for your pet or need to drop them off for a wash, the original Modern Paws location is less than a mile away at 1120 E. Kennedy Blvd. Unit 144.
