The Forge Irish Pub in Brandon is celebrating its one year anniversary with a pre-St. Patrick’s Day bash. Customers can get their green beer fix weeks early on March 8; green mimosas and shots are also on the menu. Beer bucket specials will be at the ready, and patio entertainment is supposed to keep your kids busy while you sip on the green booze.
The event kicks off at 11 a.m., and a band called Hollywood plays from 2 p.m.-6 p.m. before Matt Billor plays tunes from 7 p.m.-10 p.m. Oh, and a bagpiper will be in the building at 8 p.m., so have your camera ready.
Can’t make it to the celebration but still want in on some brews? The Forge hosts happy hour every weekday from 11 a.m.-6 p.m. You can also head over for traditional Irish eats like bangers and mash, corned beef and cabbage, and a Ulster fry Irish breakfast platter loaded with Irish bacon, Irish beans, sausage, black and white pudding, mushrooms, tomato and fried egg.
The pub—located at 109 W. Bloomingdale Ave. in Brandon—also plans for a slew of celebrations for St. Patrick’s Day on March 17.
